This is not a pic that has circulated all over the Interent but a very big croc killed by one of my clients in Mozambique just a few days ago while hunting with Neil Duckworth of Mokore Safaris. The big lizard measured an honest 15"6" and is the largest any of my clients has ever taken. I'll refrain from going into the rest of the safari in the case that my cleint might want to do a hunt report. I will tell you though that this was not his only excellent trophy. Mark MARK H. yauzza. Great croc " Until the day breaks and the nights shadows flee away " Big ivory for my pillow and 2.5% of Neanderthal DNA flowing thru my veins. Beauty. Regarding the photo, I like it a lot. Not staged. Something about the light and the background of that shot takes me back to Africa. I can almost smell it.

I'm wondering what the contents of its stomach are made up of, that would be interesting to see. What a beast though! Congrats to the client, hope he does a report.

the 15 footer i shot in Moz had a stomach full of 1 1/2 inch croc claws and 2 1/2 inch back scales from the smaller croc he had killed and eaten- and he was covered in fresh bite marks around his head/neck. these old guys live a tough life. congrats to the hunter as the old ones don't get old by being stupid Vote Trump- Putin’s best friend… To quote a former AND CURRENT Trumpiteer - DUMP TRUMP

You chaps feed tourists to your salties and thus they tend to get a bit bigger. ROYAL KAFUE LTD Email - kafueroyal@gmail.com Tel/Whatsapp (00260) 975315144 Instagram - kafueroyal

505G, I believe that where you actually can legally hunt the Nile Crocodile that you will not find many a lot bigger. One of Adam Clement's clients killed a 16' in the Selous but that is the biggest I personally have knowledge of. Lake Chamo in Ethiopia has the top entries in SCI with 18' plus being mnumber 1 but I think the croc hunitng is closed there now. Western Tanzania has a few entries of 16'-17' also. Mark MARK H. Ugalla, kilombero and certain area of the selous on Tz offer realistic chances of +15" crocs. We averaged 14"+ for a number of years from Ugalla taking 8-10 crocs a year. Anything under 13 is passed. Presume they were all at least sixty years old? That is a great average for a croc nowadays. ROYAL KAFUE LTD Email - kafueroyal@gmail.com Tel/Whatsapp (00260) 975315144 Instagram - kafueroyal

Are yes, of course, the fact they are hunted over there will bring the Max size down just as it did in Aus. We are getting to that stage where enough time has passed for the big crocs here to be getting up over that 16 feet with quite a few in the 16 - 18 feet. Biggest we ever took was a 15.2 on the Zambezi in Sapi. That is a outstanding trophy, I hope the client knows just how good! Keep your lion and buff, give me a croc like that! Dave Fulson

Dave, I spoke to the client at length before and after the hunt. I think he realizes this may be one of the top trophies he ever takes. I agree that a mature lion may be easier to find than a croc of this magnitude. Mark MARK H. Safari2, My client is doing a report so I'll let him tell about the rest of the safari. Bwana1, The croc did fit in the Cruiser but it definitely was a trick making it fit. UEG, I agree on a lifesize mount but where do you put it? Mark MARK H. not a problem. turn his head sideways, pick his tail up- THEN SLAM THE TAILGATE QUICKLY. this a 15 footer being loaded in a Hilux on Cahorra Bassa. notice the post/pulley used to winch the bugger up into the truck bed. I have to say I like the lack of composition on the picture myself. Not all trophy pics need to be perfectly staged and lit. I like the occasional "as it happened" photos such as this one, showing the lizard's overwhelming size compared to the cruiser, and implying the difficulty of getting it to fit for the ride back to the skinning shed where it is now being off-loaded. We took a few pics of my lion in this fashion as well as the traditional "happy snaps". I like them both equally well. Damn big croc! That's for sure!!

I shot a big, fat 13.5 footer last year with Zambezi hunters, on Ian's conservancy. I just had to check the stomach contents... The trackers, skinners, etc would have nothing to do with it.. They drove the croc a mile from Ian's house, and told me to have at it.. (I did) 1 fishing net 1 spine from a cow Several feathers from egret type birds 22 rocks/stones 4 small croc claws Lots of fish parts.. No jewelry though...lol D
