Below are some of the plainsgame trophies we took this year.

Sable: We took some good sable this year with our biggest from Coutada 9 in Mozambique of 43 & 3/4 inches. This was our biggest bull taken to date in C9 and we are very happy to see each year our trophy sable are improving in quality.









Waterbuck: Again we took many good Waterbuck with several over 30 inches. Sengwa and Mokore still our better areas for waterbuck but we a glad to say that our waterbuck population that we restocked into Coutada 9 are doing well and some good bulls coming through now.












Eland: As can be seen below we took some really good bulls. All three areas produced some great trophies with the biggest bull coming out of Sengwa of 42 inches and was voted as the best plainsgame trophy taken in Zimbabwe in 2016.

Kudu: Again all three areas produced great kudu trophies with the biggest of 60 inches taken on Mokore in the SVC.

Bushbuck: All 3 areas produced good bushbuck, Sengwa and Coutada 9 the Chobe Bushbuck and Mokore the Limpopo Bushbuck.









Nyala: We hunt all our Nyala in Coutada 9 in Mozambique. When we first started hunting there Nyala were extremely hard to get, now good bulls are seen daily with some good quality coming through. Last month when I was there I saw 4 big lone bulls in one drive which is very promising.

General Plainsgame: We are fortunate that with three different concessions in two countries we can offer our clients a wide variety of good quality free range plainsgame hunting. Below are some of the different species we can offer.

Sorry forgot to mention but Mokore won Best plainsgame animal shot in Zimbabwe for 2016 for the 42" Eland and also runner up Best plainsgame for a 5 1/4 inch Klipspringer. This is the third year in a row that Mokore Safaris has won the Best Plainsgame award for Zimbabwe. Good to see consistent results.

The Duckworths are a lot of fun to hunt with. Great guys with great areas, you cant ask for anything more. Congrats Neil and Gary on another exceptional year!

Thanks for the comments. The old eland was from our Sengwa concession and the reedbuck from Coutada 9 in Mozambique. Trump in power is good for the hunters and we're having great rains in both Zim and Mozambique so looks like it's going to be a great year!! Look forward to seeing many of you in Las Vegas shortly.

I never got to post this photo first time round. This Klipspringer was taken on Mokore in the SVC and was nominated as the second best plainsgame animal taken in Zimbabwe for the 2016 hunting season.

And this 42" eland won Mokore Safaris the best plainsgame animal taken in Zimbabwe in 2016 and was taken in our Sengwa Research area.
