The girth and thickness of the horns are unbelievable and make for very impressive trophies indeed.

There are some young bulls that carry this trait and already approaching the mid forties. However they are free ranging.

Andrew,
I have noticed that Zambian sable have the somewhat rectangular white patch in front of the eyes, vs. the longer white stripe running towards the nose on sable from other areas.

Is this unique to Zambian sable and somewhat akin the the Angolan royal sable?

Your comments would be most appreciated.

Hi Geoff,

This has been noticed before but there is no relationship.

These are the Zambian Royal Kafue Sable. Joke.

What a beauty - black as night as an old mature bull should be. Incredibly thick bases as well. Way to go!
