I just spent 10 days with them in March this year and had a great hunt. If you would like more information about them or their safaris I'd be glad to help.

I highly recommend their packages over some of the large volume outfitters.

I hunted with Bethaven last Sept. Had a great time. Everything was top drawer all the way. I would not hesitate to hunt with them again, and may do just that. Feel free to contact me for more a detailed report.

When we were at Kommietjieshoek in March we helped Owen Smith and P.H.Rowen put up a large US map in the hallway at the lodge - then tried to help them put pins locating the hometowns of their hunters. It was quite a challenge locating some of the smaller towns!

Owen is very fond of the hunters who were there last year, the first year on their own. I hunted there in 2001 when they were a concession, then this spring again with a friend who had never been to Africa. I'm trying to get a hunt report put together - if I can figure out how to get the photos in!
