Yes we did. We were hunting the far west end (I think) of the Gonabisi at the time. PM me and I'll send you a pic of the station. On one side was the railroad tracks and on the other a dry river bed separating us from a photographic block or national park or something. Our area had few roads and had been minimally burned (we helped out in that regard). The tetse flys were abundant. Large buff tracks but extremely hard to get close to in the thick stuff. We were probably lucky there, given the brush. Anyway, the camp had not been finished to standard and the hunting was going to be extremely difficult, so we went back to our initial camp many hours to the east and somewhat south. We were on a famous dirt road, but I don't remember its name offhand. All in all, I enjoyed going through the several villages. We sampled the coconut at one village. They have a pretty basic existance. Did see bluejeans on one girl. Must have been a chief's new wife. Keith | ||
