Yep, I did. He is a fine young man and a good hunter. I hunted with him in 2001, so it's been a while.

I'd trust him with anything but a woman. He was apparently leading an active social life when I knew him. Smiler

I hunted with him on farms that I chose, not his usual haunts at all, and he did a good job. The farms I chose were big, but largely empty!

Since it is RSA, you need to make sure that all hunts are on places big enough to be fair chase - no matter who you choose. I do not know what Neil's normal concessions are like.

A couple of friends and I are working on putting together a hunt for Sept 07. The site you linked to has to be the highest rates I've seen! I also have been noticing they are charging more for a Kudu over x", I personally think this is a joke.

Wow- I have a trip booked for this May for myself and 5 other people, not only hunting but side trips to game reserves, diamond mines, and a day of wing shooting and it's quite a bite less. Seems a bit pricey compared to what the going rate is in SA.

The danger of civilization, of course, is that you will piss away your life on nonsense

I agree about the prices being out of sight. Many are 50 to 100% more than other places. I would have for anyone I know to find out I paid $100 to shoot a rabbit.

Wow! Those prices do appear to be extremely high compared to others I have seen.
