The newly opened Musalangu concession in north Luangwa has now produced an exceptional Lion and two really solid Leopard in the last few weeks. This one weighed in at 154lbs which is about as they get in the valley.

The Leopard fed on its own kill and was shot around 5pm the following day.

AR's Thor Kirchner is next up here and his client is trying with a bow. I wish him luck and hopes he also connects with one of those big buff the area is noted for.

The upper Musalangu looks hauntingly beautiful and a fly camp in this region would offer fantastic hunting for those who are fit enough to hunt the hill country. Bet there are plenty of dagga boys hiding up there not to mention the odd monster Leopard.

OK I take it back! But I'm sure you and your hunter will bag a big one as well!
