I would be interested to know if any of the forum members have hunted with NB Safaris, Neil and Karen Barnard and if you have, was the safari successful and were there any concerns?? I am looking to book for 2009 to hunt plains game.

Yessir, I did last year. It was perfect. It was my first trip and I was extremely happy. I even wrote an article in the NRA magazine- Traditions. I, too, hunted plains game. Took seven tophies. Big trophies. Neil Barnard is certainly the consummate professional. I have already booked my second hunt with him for 2009. No hesitation whatsoever. I'm hunting with them in March of 09. This will be my first trip to Africa and I can already barely contain myself!!

I'm hunting with NB the last 2 weeks of October 2009. Only heard good things about them.

First ten days of August 2009 here.
Already getting antsy.
Can't wait to see the Willowbrooke lodge and property.
