A client hunting with PH Bruce Cronje in Martin Pieter's Omay North area successfully hunted this lion. It was taken on the fourth day of the hunt. Around 4:00 in the afternoon, Bruce and his client found the lion on the bait and were able to put it in he salt.

It was part of a very good safari that included elephant, buffalo, hippo, crocodile, and plainsgame with the lion.

Congratulations to all involved.

Ozhunter it was shot near the Jesse about half way between Camp and the airstrip.

as you know, Mart, i spent some time in that area with Bruce chasing buff in 2010. the pucker factor there is REALLY HIGH. congratulation to all involved. glad to hear Bruce is still producing results!

nobody but a marathon runner or a complete idiot would enjoy hunting the Bumi Hills/Omay North in November. it was bad enough when i was there in mid Oct- AND I LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT! regards to Bruce C.
