bwanamrmLooks like a superb safari. Man, the Holy Grail, a 60" kudu! I have shot 9 kudu bulls in all my trips and my best is 55"!!! Well done!

infinitoThank y'all! It is not always easy to put on the white teeth smile after climbing a mile up on those hils...not even with such a fantastic trophy at your feet.
It is funny how it turned out, with Lee first struggling to see them, then missing one, and I realy felt at the time he was in for something special.....we'll they do not get more special than 60" on the last day!
Hunt the right area at the right time, and those big Kudu come out allright! Because of the mountainous, thick hilly terrain, our Kudu are totaly free roaming. The game fences in the mountains are not of an even height, and both the Bulls and the cows clear them at free will if they feel like it! This ensures that the natural genepool spreads and is healthy!
