Hello, I am new to the forums & was heading to South Africa this june. We will be using Zungah Safaris & I was woundering if anyone had experience with them?

Elliott, welcome aboard. With all the African hunters here, as well as some RSA PHs, There will be someone who has hunted with Zungah and will give you the "skinny" on them. Good luck.

Normally one does the research prior to booking? Sorry never heard of them.

I have hunted with Zungah Safaris twice. I lived in SA for a year on a "study abroad" program and hunted with Chris for ten days, then returned with my Brother and Father two years later. I took a list of exceptional trophies the first trip and a nyala the second trip. Chris was my PH the first round and Noel Ross the second time around. Chris has access to a variety of hunting venues and I had the time of my life and would not hesitate to recommend him. I'm not exactly a seasoned African hunter by any means, however, I think that you made a great decision. ps. I also booked with Zungah out of the blue and feel extremely fortunate to have hunted with his operation.

Zunga Safaris is operated by Chris Bolten a young P.H hunting on their Family land outside of Uitenhage in the Eastern Cape of S.A.

He is a good chap and im sure you will have a good time.
