Canuck32,

Glad to see you have had a great hunt with our friends Anneli and Pierre.

I have taken the liberty of putting your hunt on our Hunt Page.

Here is a direct link to it.

The Sher Jung qoute is very convenient for someone who sells hunts in overshot areas, with a real scarcity of game. What?

Lonny - Thanks for the great report and pict's. I bet there is nothing like having that 21-day license in your pocket. The broken-tusk warthog is cool, as is the bushpig (that picture and pose is great, you must frame this), sable and of course the leopard.

As was stated, the zebra's stripes are very unique, did you see others like this? What type of mount will you have done, rug or shoulder/ pedestal?

Thanks again for posting, and congrat's on the hunt! thumb

Bill,

There were a few others there that had a similar pattern to my zebra. They were young so I am assuming that they may have been offspring. I plan to have a rug mount done since there is no scars on the this guy.

If you look real hard, the forward Y stripe in this picture, you can see where the bullet exited at the junction of the Y arms. Hope I explained that well enough.

If you have that much to fight for, then you should be fighting. The sentiment that modern day ordinary Canadians do not need firearms for protection is pleasant but unrealistic. The orginal gun I was going to take with me was a new gun and I was having problems with getting it to feed properly with solids I then emailed Ray on Sept 1 and asked to get the gun changed to the Sako that I had been shooting for years. When I got to Tanziania there were no problems encountered with the customs guys due to the change.

Either get the balls to post a hunt report or shut up. You sound pathetic so far. I am not judging if you have a legitmate beef. I am the way in which your one-liners keep showing up.

Obviously you have told others on this forum about you hunt privatley.

Either keep it private or report the details. thumbdown

If you haven't got the guts to spill it, keep quite. There is nothing more irritating than somebody threatening to stir the shitpot. You are ruining a good tread. Take your personal fights somewhere else.
