Well 2008 was another great trip for me to the Limpopo area of South Africa. Again I have unforgettable friends, memories and pictures for a lifetime of stories. My girlfriend cannot understand my passion for Africa, hopefully one day she will.

Sniper: I have a cure for your girlfriend. You MUST take her, just once, to Africa. That's all it will take, I promise you. On another note, what great trophies and stories on your third successful hunt to South Africa. I know what it's like to shoot the same animal twice. I have done that on a hippo and on a warthog. The hippo was "re-shot" three days after the initial shot, and the warthog two days later. On both re-shots, we didn't realize that they were the same animals until we examined them. It's crazy, but it's true, and IT DOES HAPPEN. Congratulations once again.

Second that on the bushpig! He is a sod... congrats!

I don't remember the measurement but it will make Rowland and Ward. We watched them and talked back forth about what to do for about a minute before I shot. This was also the first time he had come across them like this in the daytime.

I hope you gave him a huge tip for kicking your but because there is some mean okes in the pub there that will if they found out you didn't shoot a bushpig like that LOL

Me: What?

Tino: Look at that bushpig. You should shoot it now!

Me: Is that a good one? I had never seen one before.

Tino: You will probably never see a bigger one and definitely not in the daytime.

Me: I don't know, what do they taste like? lol

Tino: Shoot it or I am going to kick you in the pants!

Me: Alright I am going to shoot it, lol, BANG! It never knew what hit it!

Tino: Do you know what you have just done?

Me: Uh shot a bushpig?

Tino: Not just a bushpig, but a BUSHPIG in the daytime! This never happens! You lucky b#sta$d!

Terry.....does this exchange sound familiar or what?!

Sniper....well done mate, very well done! Rudi is spot on about everything!!!!!

Charl:

Sounds like some other hunters I have heard of, but if you will remember, you only had to point out our Bush Pig and I killed it immediately.
