Thank you UEG, Ovny and Mario.

I saw buffalo and Roan every day, here are some photos I took during my afternoons spent around various water holes.

Aziz,

Thank you very much for such great stories about hunting in Burkina. You have really piqued my interest. I have sent you a PM, in case you don't get it can you give me some info on the daily rate and the trophy fees. Are forest elephant available to hunt?

Any additional info is appreciated.

I am waiting on a reply from Toufic, however knowing how access to e mail in Africa can be sporadic especialy when running a hunting opperation so any info from you would be great!!

Thank you in advance,

Jamie

Nabindo waterhole and mare aux oiseaux waterhole.

Thanks Aziz for bringing up such fond memories.

Touffic the outfitter called me just before Christmas, his last season was perfect and he is fully booked for 2009.

Rhyme of the Sheep Hunter
May fordings never be too deep, And alders not too thick; May rock slides never be too steep And ridges not too slick.
And may your bullets shoot as swell As Fred Bear's arrow's flew; And may your nose work just as well As Jack O'Connor's too.
May winds be never at your tail When stalking down the steep; May bears be never on your trail When packing out your sheep.
May the hundred pounds upon you Not make you break or trip; And may the plane in which you flew Await you at the strip.
