My first trip to Africa on a bowhunt it was awesome. Everything about the trip was great food ,Guide's ,blind's and trophey quality. The Bushman tracker's are unreal. Allen Cilliers formely (Hanore) is a first class operation. Shoot Straight. Woodie
I was hunting in Namibia with Allen Cilliers.(formely Hanore)I booked the hunt through Neil Summers (Bowhunting Safari Consultants).I was there July 9 through the 19.The place was awesome. I was not sure what to expect being this was my first Safari. My expectations were blown away. The bushman trackers stole the show.I was very fortunate to only have to use them once on my Kudo.We tracked the one lung hit bull for seven hours over a two day period before I was able to get another arrow in him. With out a doub the most amazing experience I have ever had on a hunt. The bug has got me now.
I just found this picture on my camera. This was my buddie who lived in my bathroom for ten days. Wayne my young PH asked me not to smoosh it because they kill a ton of bugs. He assured me it was harmless .He hung out on the wall and under the rim of the toilet Yes he is still alive. On the second to last day of my hunt we were tracking my budies gems when I almost stepped on a Horned Adder I was able to jump over it .Wayne said the reason I didnt step on the snake was because I left the Spider alone he belives in Karma.I just hope his next client who stays in that tent is as understanding as I am.For the Spiders sake.
I just recieved some photos from one of the fellas that was in camp the week I was there .He was a traditional type and killed some nice critters .
This hartabeest was kinda cool I never saw one in ten days.
Scott was the first person in camp to get his wildebeest this was the animal that got are trip started.
Scott waited to the second to last day to anchor his Kudo he wanted a fifteen yard broad side shot .It turned out to be the biggest in camp 54 inches . This was Scotts second trip to Africa so he was the veteran at the breakfast table. shoot straight. Woodie
Great pics Woodie. Glad you could resist the natural urge to kill that spider. You're a better man than me. I'd also jumped 40 feet in the air with the horned adder and he'd a died as well.
