Matt, congratulations to your son! I never got to hunt with my dad and never will....but i like to think that I would have had he still been around.

The mass on that warthogs' tusks are remarkable and the broken tips speak it's age. THE perfect trophy!

Congratulations Matt. I'm glad to hear that your son pulled thru tough times with honor.

I can only hope that in the future when my baby daughter grows up, that I can take her hunting like you. If her mother and I have a say in the matter, she'll be a hunter too!

That's a great hunt and the Eland and Kudu are very nice. Enjoy every bit of time with him and maybe a bit will rub off. My son lives and works in Singapore for the government over there and my daughter-in-law won't loan him out to me because he may hang with the non-PC gun crowd when he's over this side of the pond.

Matt

Congratulations on your hunt with your son, I am sure you both thoroughly enjoyed every minute. I have been lucky enough to take both of my sons to Africa and it is truly an unforgetable experience.

Matt, Congratulations again. I will bet Doug was like a little kid at Christmas again! I am sure this was a very emotional event for you two, particularly in light of damn near loosing him in Iraq. These are the memories you will always have to give you that warm fuzzy feeling. Im sorry I couldnt be there with you. I would have liked to watch you guys. These types of events touch everyone to some degree. I cant say enough good about it.
