Hi all, I am heading to SA next month and while getting some items together I remembered reading something about disposable razors not being allowed on the plane, is this a fact??? If so does it include checked baggage? Thanks in advance and God bless. cordell

According to the Transportation Security Administration's Prohibited Items List (this is a PDF document so you will need an Adobe viewer to read it), safety razors are permitted in carry on or checked bags. You should check the airlines for any additional restrictions as these are general U.S. restrictions.

That sucks, I always carry at least a half dozen Throwing Stars and Blasting Caps on me at all times. I mean hey, you never know what life will bring. Be prepared. Steve "You want me to get one of my skilled guys to do that"

Charles_Helm, A-Team, and butchloc, Thanks for the suggestions and comments. Charles, thanks for the direction and the web site it has been a valuable item in planning my trip. A-Team and butchloc, thanks, after removing the throwing stars and fireworks I had more room for the razors. Take care and God bless. cordell

For all, put all that pick, cut or make flames in the rifle bag ... I leaved a pair of scissor at Frankfurt airport ..... they were normal, not particularly big or sharp, but they were scissors. bye Stefano Waidmannsheil
