We had a successful and exiting elephant hunt in the Lupane area in Matabeleland in Zimbabwe Feb. / March 2014. Outfitter Nyamazana Safaris, Wayne van den Bergh. We got a 52lb bull on the 5th day of the safari. Hunting area was farm- resp. communal land, adjacent to a forest reserve. Elephants were passing through the farming area every night, sometimes raiding crops. Hunting was from a basic but comfortable camp. For my wife it was the 1st time in a hunting camp and she enjoyed it. | ||
