Still think the little WR 375F would be ideal for that hunt mate

I have been waiting for this! When I saw the title my heart jumped and got so excited. Just look at how thick those tusks are. The bull with his back to you is unbelievable. Can't see the tape, how long is the track? We followed a bull that had a 27 inch track, we measured it. These pics are like throwing gas on a fire, I'm working out dates for June of next year and am fit to be tied. The Nyae Nyae is a place you have to experience to believe it. Please hurry with the report

We both thought he was 80ish, but a little young , had
Great potential to make the "holy grail"

Nick,
80# and to young, still had some growing!! Did you have somebody film the hunt? I'm trying to get a videographer to video the hunt so I can look back on these giants.

Great pics and a very nice old bull! Looked to be an awesome adventure. Importable?

Is that Ben holding the double? If so, he has really moved up.

I'm having mine cast and true replicas made.

Randy, only person holding the double is me!! I never let anyone carry my rifle when I'm in the field hunting!

Congratulations. Nice photos and writeup.
Saw a couple of massive bulls when I was there a few weeks back but we weren't hunting elephant.

The hunting imperative was part of every man's soul; some denied or suppressed it, others diverted it into less blatantly violent avenues of expression, wielding clubs on the golf course or racquets on the court, substituting a little white ball for the prey of flesh and blood.

Very nice story Mr Nick Big Grin

Congrats on the big bull using big rifle. I guess my VC 450 NE would look like a 22 caliber compared to your VC 600 NE tu2

Nice write up, I'll be headed there in June. You make it hard to wait that long. You gave me some ideas on what to do after I get my bull, hyena, and tracking eland would be fun. I'll forgive you for getting my tag!
