To all respondents: I just wanted to write a short note to let everyone know that my trip (along with my wife) to South Africa this May (2018) was absolutely great! I purchased a donated hunt package at the Mule Deer Foundation fundraiser. The trip package was donated by Abie Steyn Safaris. We were treated exceptionally well and the quality and numbers of the animals on the three huge ranches were also exceptional. Abie Steyn and his associates worked hard to make everything about this trip wonderful! A total of 16 animals were taken, and I'm told several of them will score very well. Anyone considering a trip to Africa can select Abie as their outfitter with confidence... I will write a more complete account and post it soon when I can, thanks, DFWCaveman (PS, I would like to post a few pictures (especially my waterbuck), but I'm not sure how to acquire permission to post them... any advice would be appreciated)

Abie was my PH on my first safari back in 2003. I was wondering what had become of him.

I am glad he is still in the safari business. He is a really nice guy and a superb hunter.

.

Why the photoshop whited out faces ?

Sorry but that just ruins it for me. Then just post the animals w/o faceless hunters.

Just my opinion.

Glad you had a great hunt.
