One big herd...2-3 hundred head, they would move in/out of the park coming into the concession to water. Otherwise random groups of Dugga boys scattered throughout the concession. We came across a few groups, but they would give us the slip before we could close the deal. We would check and glass the herd a couple times a day as we cruised back and forth checking bait.

The DuPlooys run a tight ship!

You will be impressed with how quick they get stuff out to you.

I hunted Chanjuzi back in 2008 with them, and we actually didn't do that bad with the plains game then, but it was much thinner on the ground than Chifunda was a couple years later, but we did see Wildebeest then as well as a fair number of Puku. And even then it was crawling with leopard!

Looks like you did well!

Looks like congrats are in order! Nicely done. The DuPlooys are excellent hosts and have excellent areas.

Thanks a lot - I should buy one for my R8 Kilombero in 375 and an extra barrel. Considering buying 404 Jeff or 500 Jeff Big Grin

Some say 458 Lott ... but I do not know about those straight wall cartridges in a bolt rifle ...

For some reason, Heym's original report is just showing up as an "X" on my screen, with his signature block down below.

Did it go away for everyone else, or is something weird just going on with my computer?

All the other report threads I have tried today seem fine, and all the replies to the thread seem ok.

I am really interested to read this one...

Since he has not responded, I am guessing he removed the posts and left an X. I have seen several hunt reports go south before and the posters did the same thing.

Funny, I saw nothing abnormal here, but never got to read the full report. I wonder if he un-knowinglgy posted something that the outfitter asked to be removed?
