I just returned from a 7 day cape buffalo hunt with pierre van tonder safaris in tanzania(hunting block R2 in the selous) from the staff in camp to the food and the hunting area was excellant,my ph was wikus groenwald,a very knowledgable ph and a very nice guy,i shot a very nice 40" cape buf with my 416 weatherby,i had a great time,i just want to thank again pierre van tonder,jeff martinell and kathi klimes,if anyone wants to hunt cape buffalo pierre van tonder safaris is the place to go...

The fees were the same,i will post the photos soon,the bufs horns have a nice deep drop and they curl up very nice.

I posted before but everytime I look at that buff it excites me. His horns have so much curl I don't think he could "hook" you if he tried. That is a buff for the front cover of the top african hunting magazine if I ever saw one. I hope you have a room for a full mount because that is one awesome trophy.

I agree with you! Wikus is a fine young man and so is Clinton. I hunted with them in 9-06. They will make you lose weight with the death march walks!!!!
