In addition to brent’s (mandhlazim) report , let me just add it was truly a joy and a pleasure to see the ranch , having hunted there in the mid 90s for buffalo range and knowing what happened to it after that , for those of you who don’t know , Brent has been the manager of the game section of the ranch and given the monumentous task of rejuvenating the area , buffalo have been re-introduced , cattle have been moved, poaching and “meat hunting”has been stopped and the game has recovered remarkably well ..

The lodge is great , complete with well manicured garden and the area is huge , several hundred thousand acres with a great network of hunting roads .

Well done to Brent and his team for what they have achieved here and thanks to Adam and the Kryptek boys for joining us on safari there –

Here are some more pics of the trophies we took …

thanks men for all the humour, fun and great hunting we had

thanks to all involved for a spectacular ten days !!!

well said Ivan its good to see the ranch doing well. I hunted there with Charlie Stanton and his boys for three years and he also did a bloody good job with what he could there but had his hands tied a lot of the time. Its a same the stantons were kicked out of there cause many many Aussies had bloody good hunts there even before this and Matt Stanton and I would love to go back there and have a chance to hunt good buff along with the huge warthogs that are found there tu2
