Matt, Congratulations to you and my sincere thanks to your son for his service to our country. He is involved in two of the things I enjoy and love the most...hunting and time spent at Arlington whenever I'm in Washington. I live to make my trips to Africa and Montana each year. And, I have a step-son and step-daughter living in Washington. My fasicination and love for hunting speaks for itself. And, I think it should be mandated that everyone wanting to call himself/herself an American be required to visit Arlington Cemetery and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at least once in their life...kind of like a religous pilgrimage. If you can hunt for and kill DG or even whitetail deer, you feel emotions that are sometimes difficult to describe. But if you can visit the Tomb and watch the Old Guard and not feel a swell of emotion, pride and patriotism then I feel sorry for you. Walk past the rows and rows of marble headstones and read the names...then you realize why our freedom is so precious. But, enough flag-waving. Again kudos on a great event for you and your son and thank you for sharing it and him with us. Bull1 | |||
