Hello guys,
Sorry, just a short note, as I am back in Canada at my hunting lodge, and we are "nuts to the guts" busy...
I took my wife, and two boys, aged 24 and 25 and it was billed as the "last great Regehr adventure". We really think this will be our last adventure before one of the boys gets married...
We hunted 12 days, saw on many occasions, all the big five, including seeing and stalking a leopard to 15 yards (on film), lions at 15 yards, and some great stories I will fill you in on a bit later...
End result was;
33.5 inch waterbuck, 30" waterbuck, 17" bushbuck, 58" kudu, 5" klippy, 26 animals in total, and ......lion, leopard, ele, in 2015!!!
I will write a full hunt report when things slow down some, and ask someone to help posting some photos.
For those going Buff hunting soon on Sango;
I was looking for the ultimate 45" hard horned perfect buff, but didn't find him. Having said that....we passed up and saw about 30 that were just simply amazing, great beasts, over 38" up to a 44", and including a 45-46" that was just 1.5" soft...
Well, geese are in the air, I have to go for now...Smiler

Great family adventure.
I'll be in Arda camp with Thierry in 11 months + 1 day for a 2 buff hunt.

I just sent a bunch of photos to David..no time like the present huh!!

We had a great adventure with Thierry again!! With the exception of looking and finding that huge, monster buff...we found everything on our lists..
I could have shot several great buffalo....I was being a little greedy this time.
We all saw on many occasions, all of the big five, including an Ele that was 65-70 lbs, huge lions, and an amazing, amazing stalk on a big pregnant female leopard from 278 yards to under 15 yards at 11:30 am!! And on film as well..maybe that has been the highlite of all my African Safaris, actually.
Food and camp were great!!
Thierry and staff were great!!
Alistair and company ensured no problems!!
The Save is amazing, and I will be back next year..

Hi Roland, I hope you a well? Actually Glen Stockil took some of the photos, Giraffe, Klipspringer, heavy bushbuck, Mrs and her Wildebeest, bushpig and impala. He helped me with the guiding on this hunt and did a good job.

Cheers
Thierry

Great that you guys have this photographic ability. If the antis ever shut down hunting for good, you and Glenn could start doing photographic tours. Guiding zebra busloads of Touri over the open plains of Mukwishi, I can almost see it...
