elkfitter, Rodger is mainly into guiding bowhunters, so it might be an idea to try on the bowhunting board as well. (I havn't check if you have perhaps done that.) He also posts here as nampom, present courses to prospective bowhunting guides through NAPHA, and is a pleasure to be around with. Thanks Karl for all your kind words. I would have posted earlier but did not have internet connection. I am not sure if any AR members have hunted with me in past and as Karl said my biggest market is Bowhunters or Bow/Rifle Combo groups but I do Rifle as well. My privately owned hunting area, 21 000 is bow only and borders communal Damaraland, the wildlife management programs form part of the Loxodonta Africana Conservancy measuring 500 000 acres of hunting territory. Inside the Conservancy, I have two more bow only properties. I have exclusive hunt rights for the rifle on neighbouring properties The Kaoko-Etosha Conservancy, bordering the southwestern border of Etosha Park, extents our hunt opportunities with an additional 240 000 acres in the north-west of Namibia, this area is solely for rifle hunting. For any species that is not available in the above areas, I normally hunt other properties in the Otavi area. I have talked with Roger the last 2 years at Dallas Safari Club's convention. He is a very personable, likeable guy. I hope to be able to visit him while "in country" this June. I was able to meet Roger at the Denver Sportsmen show Yesterday And found him to be a the kind of PH that I would like to share 7 days with. I hope to put together a hunt with him. I thank all those that responded. | |||
