I came home Sunday after 2 weeks in RSA hunting in the Limpopo and Free State Provinces. This was our third hunting trip to Africa, but the first to RSA. Lochi Lochner was our PH/tour guide as we hunted for 7 days and toured the rest of the time including 2.5 days in Kruger NP. RSA is a beautiful contry.

I took a blesbok, mountain reedbuck, and black wildebeest in Free State and a waterbuck and warthog in Limpopo. I also missed a good impala and we searched for bushbuck much of the time, but to no avail. But that is hunting! I shall never forget our mountain reedbuck hunt.

Hunting/touring with Lochi was really a great time. he took care the wife and I like we were royalty and if I lifted a finger to help I was quickly told to sit down and have another drink.

As a freelance type of PH, Lochi will get onto ranches that cater to your needs and specific game list. I highly recommend Lochi and when I return to RSA, he will be the first person I contact.

He is an avid varmit hunter as well and on the first two calls we had 3 jackals come in and I took a big male. That was a pretty cool way to wind down the hunt/vacation.

His web address is - www.affordableafricanhunting.com If anyone would like further info concerning hunting with Lochi, I would be happy to provide it.

Now that's exactly what a client should be saying if he wants a free hunt next year!

Thanx John, you and Sheila were just great to have with us. It is people like you who make it possible for part-time operators like me to guide purely for the fun of it.
Sorry we never found that bushbuck

Lochi.
