Good Action, Good Action!

I am glad you had a wonderful safari. Vaughan's concession is amazing, true wilderness and lots of animals. I can't wait, leaving on July 29 for my second hunt at his concession.

MR, there were plenty of giraffes, and we saw a couple nice dark old bulls. I was interested in trying for one, but we spent too much time on our "target species" and lost the opportunity. With two of us hunting, we had Vaughan working to find both of us the animals we originally requested. If I can make over to hunt with Vaughan again in the not too distant future, giraffe will be on the top of the list (along with another mountain zebra for a pedestal mount). We saw several eland, though no big bulls. I'm not sure we were in the best eland areas though, as we were not hunting for them at all. You will have a wonderful time.

I definitely glad my dad was able to go on this hunt. Some of the hunting was a bit rough, but he stuck with and had a grand time. Vaughan hunts at full throttle, so be ready for some good hikes. The mountains on his concession are steep and rocky, but there are some dandy kudu up there.
