Quote: I think you mean Out of Africa Safaris, and it is disappointing that SCI does nothing about it. Quote: That would no hunting in Tanzania, and no middle east oil, unfortunately.

If you spend time speculating about the ties HHK may possibly have with those on the banned list, would it not be fair to spend time taking about the ties Big Five Safaris and Out of Africa have with those on the banned list. You many not be hunting on confiscated lands, however the outfit you support may do a great deal of business with Mugabe or take other clients to hunt on confiscated lands. How many white farms are still in operation in Zimbabwe? Who owns and runs these farms? Why are these the only whites permitted to still have farms or lands? If someone came in the middle of the night and told you to leave, without any belongings, and that they were taking over your property. How would you feel, especially if you were given nothing in return for your investment and lifes work? There are some outfits operating in Zimbabwe that are helping to support the confiscation of lands, the suppresion of human rights and the overall degredation of that country. SCI allows one of those to continue to advertise in their monthly publication. Would you support a company or other organization that supported someone who supplied funds to those that advocate or carry out terrorisim on Americans?

Ray, I would really like to hear more. I feel bad enough hunting in ZImbabwe period! Out of fear that I am supporting Mugabe and his stooges. If Mugabe / cronies really do control Lemco there is no way in hell, Iam going to support them. Do you know anything about Kizumi Forest or Matetsi and how they compare to Lemco? Again I plan to hunt Buff and Plains game (Not Sable) and maybe I nmight extend for Leopard. Thanks for info. HUgh

For Ray Atkinson.....I have been following this thread for as long as it has been running and have concluded that you have shot yourself in the foot....By putting the mouth on Graham Hingeston and HHK Safaris you have done a disservice to the Zimbabwe Safari industry, and to yourself in terms of credibility, the reason I suspect, being mainly because of your own business interests....HHK is in their current position because of aggressive marketing, strong financial position and top notch management....If they have reached this position in the Zim safari industry because of these efforts....SO BE IT!!!....I have been hunting Rhodesia/Zimbabwe regularly since 1973, including the war years, and have not found a better operator than HHK...In your postings you leave the impression that Zimbabwe is the only safari hunting country where crooked politicians prevail.....Either you are kidding yourself, or you don't know as much as you think you do....HHK probably has a black partner in their operations in the government hunting areas. If this is the only way to do business in Zimbabwe...SO BE IT. Lemco though, is privately owned by a group of international hunters which keeps them out of Mugabe's reach......So eat the Crow you personally shot, and be sure to drop Zimbabwe hunts from your website.
