I did this hunt end of February and beginning of March. Nuanetsi is in the middle of a drought so there is very little grass in some areas but we still had a great Safari.
Thought I would just wet the appetite of those who are coming out soon to hunt with me. Travel safe John. See you end of the month. Looking forward to our hunt in July, PSmith, travel safe.
I cannot believe that I never went to the 'trouble' of shooting a civet in the four times that I hunted in Zim ... Wouldn't that be a tremendous mount ... (not a question, at all)

Sorry it's taken me a while to get back here after the last few tragic days.
Yes it was a very big civet. We lucked out and saw it feeding in bush at 16:30 in the afternoon. They are a really cool animal and make a great mount or an unusual rug.
Hello Mark, The leopard and civet are awesome! The rest of the bag is equally impressive. Robin and I can't wait until next week when we meet you and Renz in Nuanetsi. Safari…it just puts a smile on your face you can't get ride of.

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.
