For those of you who genuinely strive to protect Africa’s wildlife , you’ll be happy to hear that we at Buchanan hunts are trying to show the world that hunting is vital in the fight to protect our wild places. This episode of this is Africa certainly highlights this. If you didn’t catch it on the Pursuit Channel then here is the link from our YouTube channel . The AR teams Feedback is always greatly appreciated.

Yeah it was OK. Luangwa is better than that and I am sure it will be well portrayed at a later date.

Thank you. It’s hard to portray the absolute beauty of the Luangwa, it’s so game rich, watch next week as we hunt the river. Wonderful place

Great show! I am looking forward to seeing Rich Tabor in an episode. He's a hunting machine.

Rich will be on the episode titled “up close “ next week!
He is a great hunter and a genuine gentleman

Fully agree with the "Great Hunter", but "Genuine Gentleman"? That's a stretch!!!

Already I was beginning to fall into the African way of thinking: That if
you properly respect what you are after, and shoot it cleanly and on
the animal's terrain, if you imprison in your mind all the wonder of the
day from sky to smell to breeze to flowers—then you have not merely
killed an animal. You have lent immortality to a beast you have killed
because you loved him and wanted him forever so that you could always
recapture the day - Robert Ruark

Gentlemen, These films of hunting in the Luangwa valley of Zambia brings back some fond memories of my hunting there.

One thing I recommend for anyone hunting the Luangwa Valley, do not pass up a chance to bag a good PUKU. Zambia is the only country where they can be hunted, and they are plentiful in the valley especially along the Luangwa river.
It's been a few years since I last hunted there, but buffalo are plentiful, along with lion, and leopard. In the early hunts like May and June, the bush is thick but a full bag is possible there with the exception of Rhino, and maybe elephant, if they haven't opened Elephant hunting as it was closed the last time I was there.
I wish I could go there again but I doubt I will ever set foot on African soil again at my age, and finances.
For those of you who can go there let me say you will not be disappointed!
