I did and they worked great. I forget what the exact name of the one I used is but it was not the Safari Stix. I purchased those but they are not sturdy enough. The ones I used have three sections per leg and are the longer version. I only used it as a tripod on one animal I took. Ahmed Before you choose sticks check out the traditional sticks from Long Grass Outfitters.
