Just returned last Thursday from my first hunt in Africa. Had the most terrific time of my life. My PH Wayne Bartlett of Bishope Stone S. was amazing as was his trackers. Got me onto Buff. and was truely among them as they say, killed one the second full day after many up close stalks. Managed to take Eland, Warthog, Zebra, Wildebeast and Impala. We hunted three different camps and saw an unbelievable amount of game. I must say that the Eland was the most challenging to stalk within shooting range and they can suck up some lead. As they say if you don't find them within the first 200 yards, go back for your pack, because your in for a long day and we were.

GRP: You must of hunted right after my partner and I at Bishopstone. Wayne was also my PH, what a great guy! Was Tomoni with Wayne? We will have to share the photos with the rest of the gang here. Send me an e-mail to discuss further. Take care and congratulations on a successfull hunt. Regards, Rick L. Webb

Oh that is a nice Buff. bigger than mine I think. Yes Wayne is a great guy. I want to return in a couple of years and do a cat hunt with him. I think my Zebra will be my favorite mount, very vivid markings espeacialy on the face. I will try to post some pictures.
