Guys

Here is a quick mid season post on the first half of our season ,typically we try to arrange most of our cat hunts for earlier in the season. This season got off to a different start with unusually high rain fall, in some parts of the conservancy almost twice the annual rainfall.
The thicker bush and more cover has been a huge advantage. In so far one of our most successful cat hunting seasons yet.  We started off the season with Mike Ambrose this was his fourth lion hunt in his quest for a trophy lion. Battling rain, muddy roads and all the challenges that come with hunting lion, Mike finally realised his dream !!
As far as the leopard hunting we are 4 leopard from 4 leopard hunts all being huge toms in the 150 ++ pound class. With one leopard still to go  this season !!
On the plains game front as normal the Bubye Valley conservancy is an absolute Eden. Tons of wild life allowing all our hunters the opportunity to be very selective
As in most cases pictures speak volumes ! below are some of the highlights of our 2014 season thus far. Steve arrives this morning for a bunch of buffalo. With the conservancy drying out nicely the second half of this season should have some exciting buffalo hunting in store.
Happy Hunting

Well done Shaun! Some nice cats there. The last couple of leopard are absolute brutes!

Congrats on some beautiful trophies. Looks like you are having a great season. FYI, Mike Ambrose won an award for his lion at the SCI Houston banquet a couple of weeks ago.

On another note, it is certainly disappointing to see hunters now having their photos altered to obliterate their faces. Just feels to me like we are letting the other side win when we succumb to that sort of thing. Disappointing.

Mike,

It might be because the first hunter has a Blaser...

Great cats, would love to come and hunt an Eland there one day

As a client I wouldn't want my face all over the net with trophy pictures. I hunt for myself and it is my business. Same as I wouldn't want pictures of my wife and kids on a beach holiday being on the net. Each to their own

At least we get to see the cats and the hunters can maintain their privacy
