Has anyone hunted with this outfitter? I am booked in July for a bowhunt and was wondering what to expect from previous clents

you'll have a hard time getting a sensible reply on this site from this bunch whom seem to feel as if it is not steeped in age old tradition of DBL guns and 30 day safaris it is unworthy of posting. try Bowsite.com

Dilman,

You can ignore the above comment. It was made by someone who has only been here a week or so.

Inquire on the African Hunting and Bowhunting forums; someone there may have hunted with them.

Dilman,

Ignore LessThanAdventerous, he does not know of what he speaks. If you want to learn about Africa hunting, this is the place.

Regards,

Terry

I'll second what Terry and George said.

Thanks guys, I just stumbled across this website myself so didn't really know what to make of that post. I'm booked for July and was looking for previous clients expirience, besides the references I have already talked to. Looks like a nice place and I'm counting the days.

Unfortunately, The Bowsite is not what it used to be. It is poor for information concerning Africa as well. A-R is tops concerning Africa for now.

Sir; With all due respect, you need to ask this question "before" you book, not afterwards.

Yo, Terry ... I expect the gentleman probably already has done it beforehand .. but is seething in anticipation and needs to sound off ... And can't find anyone close by to chat with who cares/has the passion ... Been there so very many times myself ..And I suspect you have too .. I actually have never even heard of this outfit as I use only sticks that make a horrendously loud noise ...and so am not welcome in many of these places .. Off topic .. but have you written a book on these long safaris that you take every year ? I'd sure like to buy a copy if you have ... Smiler

Thanks for the defense Richard and you hit the nail on the head. I talked to half a dozen references but they of course were from the outfitter. Everything checks out, just looking for some feedback from newer clients
