Hello people , andy cool of explorer satellite has very kindly agreed to
upload reports from the field from me each day , we are getting out early
and back late and doing it this way means a lot less time on the computer
for me , so thanks so much andy- we got into kilimanjaro late last night on
the KLM flight , all our guns and ammo got here in one piece , I have my
HEYM .600NE and my Ruger .416 and doug has a .375 H&H , we will be hunting
Msima , one of Tanzania Big Game safaris' areas so should be awesome , of
primary importance on the list is lion , then leopard and whatever else we
need for bait - western tanz has some great plainsgame so should be fun and
interesting ! Andy macdonald is filming so hopefully we will get some great
episodes for tracks !!


Day one -
After an early breakfast at the bay leaf , we drove the shot drive to arusha
airport for our flight - 2.5 hours in the air and soon we were unloading
resupplies - (those eggs are going to be good in the mornings !)and swatting
tsetse flies - awesome to be back in Tanzania - its dougs first trip here
and Its always a highlight for me watching someones impressions as they see
things for the first time -

First afternoon we found a natural lion kill , lots of mane hair on the
buffalo so our first bait is in the tree - wonder what will be on it
tommorow !!!

Great dinner and an early night to try and rid ourselves of the dreaded
jetlag !!
