Hi,

Just got back from Cape Town and a wonderful family holiday. Leslie came recommended to me through AR and I must say she runs a first class act. We were very well taken care of, we did all the things on our itinery and she is a very nice person. If you ever need a guide in Cape Town use Leslie -you won´t regret it!

Hi,

It´s actually Lesley and not Leslie...my mistake. Her email address is: ambertours@wol.co.za

We had a great winetour, and this lady knows wines!, and she arranged a trip for us up to Clanwilliam to see San rock paintings etc.

She made her self available 24/7 by giving us a cellphone so we could call her at any time. Gun storage can be arranged and she has a lot of contacts in the hotel/B&B department -we were four (wife + the kids) and she found very nice accomadations for us in Camps Bay at a reasonable price.

Lovely lady!

PS The kids loved her and she gave my son Anton a good beginners course in wine...I actually got the same course. Lesley knows her wines but is in no way snobbish!

Anton is only 14 so he had to spit after tasting but he had fun!

We also did some brandy tasting...good stuff!

My wife and I had a great time with Lesley as well in Capetown. She picked us up at the airport, and took us everywhere.

The only complaint I have is she showed my wife the best place to buy diamonds Frowner

Luckily we didn´t find any diamond shops or I´d be getting a second mortgage on the house. Cape Town isn´t cheap even though the accomadations, Lesley etc were reasonably priced. It just adds up over time.

Next time we go it´ll be a second honeymoon type thing and then we´ll concentrate more on wines and the Garden Route. Time flies in Cape Town.

I would also highly recommend Lesley if you are going to spend time in Cape Town. We were with her for 2 days and found her to be an excellent guide and pleasant companion. Our tour of the wine country was a one of the highlights of the trip.
