I booked a Safari with Pierre in 2004 that regrettably had to be cancelled. I am now starting to plan a safari for 2013 and looking at various options with different operators. I have searched this forum for recent hunting reports using Pierre's company but nearly all of them are from 2004/5/6. Has anyone booked a safari with him over the last 2 years? If so I'd love to get some feedback. Thank you.

I booked a hunt with Pierré for this July (Selous/Cape Buffalo), but it will be my first hunt with him.

Contact Retreever (Mike Podwika) or JudgeG (Ernest Gilbert) or even Saeed all of whom have hunted with PVT.

I believe Mike is returning later this year for simba.

I hunted with Pierre in 2008 and had a great hunt. Great PH, plenty of Buffalo, and fine accomodations.

Into my heart on air that kills
From yon far country blows:
What are those blue remembered hills,
What spires, what farms are those?
That is the land of lost content,
I see it shining plain,
The happy highways where I went
And cannot come again.

We hunted with Pierre 2003 and 2004, and had a great safari on both years.

Many members of this forum have been hunting with him regularly, and all speak very highly of Pierre.

Even Walter likes hunting with him beer

I've hunted with Pierre 4 times now including just getting back Saturday (Cheetah hunt in Namibia) from hunting with him and his son Clinton. I don't think there is a better person to go with and I have no hesitation recommending him highly.

If you have that much to fight for, then you should be fighting. The sentiment that modern day ordinary Canadians do not need firearms for protection is pleasant but unrealistic. To discourage responsible deserving Canadians from possessing firearms for lawful self-defence and other legitimate purposes is to risk sacrificing them at the altar of political correctness."

Thank you very much for the replies and PMs folks.

Pierre hasn't secured a block yet for 2013 but I believe he is in the process of doing so. We are in dialogue regarding a suitable package and I hope to be able to book with him soon Smiler
