Just got back from South Africa safari.
Treated my 13.5 yr old granddaughter to her first PG Safari. Myself, wife, daughter and granddaughter spent 9 wonderful days in northern Limpopo Province with Matsuri Safaris on their 20,000 acres of thick bush. Accommodations, food and staff were terrific. She killed 5 excellent animals in 7.5 days of hunting. She killed Impala, Stallion Zebra, Wildebeest, Gemsbok, and Kudu. All one shot kills with the camp Musgrave .308.

BTW, I sent her to NRA adventure camp at the Whittington Center in Raton, NM in June where she gained a lot of shooting experience including 1000 yds, 1123 yds, and 1 mile targets.

Lots of game and wonderful weather and a nice campfire every night. Our PH, Van Vuren, was excellent.

I Highly recommend Matsuri Safaris.

Well done Butch. Watched Lucy post progress on FB. Fun for the whole family!

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

Now that is a great hunting report!

Imagine the memories she will have and how lucky she is to have her grandparents take her to Africa. That is about as good as it gets!
