More and more good reports out of Uganda which is great to see. The buffalo quality is exceptional!

Have some friends guiding hunts there and they have many positive things to say about the country as a whole.

The only negative is the cost of a multiple area hunt if you are looking at getting a wide variety of the species available. Once again its the Hunters paying for Conservation

Fantastic report! Photos are professional quality and the variety and quality of the animals simply amazing!

The horns on many of those old bulls put Savannah buffalo to shame!

I just might start saving up my pennies!

Thanks for sharing.

I have gone back and looked at the buffalo several times. The age structure is really amazing. The number of old, old, white faced, worn down horn bulls is exciting. Are lions following the herds? It would be a special experience to hunt for a "PERFECT " bull.

Bama- the lions weren’t really following the buff. There were so many herds around, lions wouldn’t have to go far. A bunch of us from AR are going back in 2020 and my plan is to shoot 2 of the oldest bulls I can find and not worry a terrible lot about size. And then go try to find an old sitatunga.

Good Hunting,

I spent time there training the Ugandan military forces. The people were amazing and the land is spectacular. On our off time we went on regular tourist safari to Murchison Falls, etc. I took my range finder with me to view the game. My only regret is that I could not be there hunting. I would definitely go back again with a bull on my list!

Jeeze, Tim old buffalo and lots of bushbuck. Hard to imagine a better combo. Good birds too.
