I just got back from my last hunt in RSA with Matswane Safaris and my good friend and ph Jaco Hurst.We were a group of 9 hunters this time and the hunting was wery nice

I shot a nice Nyala of 27,5 and we used 2 days to find it in between a lot of others nyalas also with nice horns but this one had the shape on the horns i wanted.
this was my 22 trip to Rsa and i just love the country and its nature!! i will be down there again im September with a new group

Use Enough GunNice photos. Can you see if you can downsize and restore them to web site size? They are currently much to big for the post. Great hunt and good trophies.

The warthogs came together to a watherhole and i shot the biggest first and then the smaller ran away but couldent hide for my bullet

Thousands of deer are shot in American corn fields every year! I bet 'big bird' are just as attracted to corn and hard on the fields.

donnerThe farmer where i shot my big bird was robbed every day of a gang of 12 ostridges and he gave me some free birds to keep the populasjon down

we had some wery nice steaks from this bird and they tasted wery nice!!

Fallow BuckOut of curiosity, what do you do with an ostrich? and what did you shoot one with?
I'm all for it but just never really thought about it. The meat is excellent though as I've eaten it a few times here in the UK.

Same thing happens here in Oz, with emus. They wreck fences faster than anything else, UEG.
