Nice pictures Donner. Are you sure that your father didn't travel a lot in his younger days?

Nice pigs, but the ostrich in a corn field must be one of the strangest hunting scenes around!

Well done.

Gabriel,

Thousands of deer are shot in American corn fields every year! I bet 'big bird' are just as attracted to corn and hard on the fields.

Excellent trophies, Donner!

Out of curiosity, what do you do with an ostrich? and what did you shoot one with?

I'm all for it but just never really thought about it. The meat is excellent though as I've eaten it a few times here in the UK.

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

The pics are much better re-sized. By the way, that's interesting about the marauding ostriches.

Same thing happens here in Oz, with emus. They wreck fences faster than anything else, UEG.

For some strange reason, I've always wanted to take an ostrich and make some boots out of him and a purse for the wife.
