A good friend of mine met with the owner last week in Denver. I know no one who has ever used them nor gone to Botswana. Everyone I know personally has either been to Zim, RSA or Namibia. Any info anyone could provide on either hunting in Botswana or Settlers Safaris would be appreciated.

If you are refering to Safaris Botswana Bound, then I can whole heartedly recommend them. Greame and his team is first class, professional. He has donated to SCI extensively and has delivered all expectations.
He has plains and DG hunts and specializes in DG in Botswana and Mozambique. Discuss your expectations up front and you will not be dissappointed.

I've been to Botswana twice with Mark Kyriacou's Big game and Bird Safaris. I highly reccommend his outfit in fact I'm going back this year. I think that Botswana is spectacular.

Botswana, especially the Okavango Delta, is spectacular. When I planned my first safari I was told to go to the Okavango Delta, that's where God lives. I have hunted there 3 times with Johan Calitz Safaris. Each safari provided me both the experience and the trophies I was after. Numerous herds of plainsgame are very common as well as plentiful buffalo and elephant!
