The season is wrapping up for most soon and we are no exception. We did finished a little earlier than usual this year as we are expecting an addition to our family in a few days!

We had the privilege to be involved in the elephant relocation from Sango in The Save Valley to Rifa (Zambezi Valley). This relocation was phenomenal and I have included a few pictures! The magnitude of it all was breathtaking being the 1st elephant relocation of this size size the 90's when elephant were brought into the Save Valley. This is what conservation is all about and thank you to the owners in the Save and to yourselves as hunters as without your dollars to protect and conserve the game here, this would never have happened! WELL DONE!

Some pictures to tell some stories.
Enjoy

Elephant .... what elephant....

Hope you all enjoyed our year! I certainly did Smiler

Congrats on the season. The elephant relocation is news that doesn't get out to the main channels much. To be involved in that would be a privilege. How about some weights and measurements on the ivory. The Save is on my bucket list in the next few years.

Great photos! Some great buffalo there.

How big is the elephant bull standing in the river?

It was a privilege to be involved with, one that we are extremely proud of and a great testimony for hunting conservation!

The Ivory was 74lbs and 78 lbs.
5.9 feet and 6 foot each tusk, 19 inches at the lip.

Frank - we did a day trip to Ghonarezhou National Park as a little side excursion. One I would recommend to anyone coming across here. It was phenomenal the elephants we saw. That one, I would take a guess and say he is very close to 100lbs on the one side. Holds his weight beautifully and is a magnificent old bull and a pleasure to see!

Come across and I'll show you one Smiler
