Glad to hear they have improved things at Trudia. They said they were working on various projects to improve the property. I know it is petty but the freezer would not make ice. It was in the 90's the whole time I was there and warm G & T just isn't the same after a hot day in the field.

These 6 were shot in a culling operation in one afternoon by my hunting partner and myself. All spot and stalk. I shot the one on the far right out from under him at 300 yards. I had no idea we were both stalking the same animal. It just happened that I shot first. This area has an estimated (by counting in a flyover using an ultralight aircraft) 3000 springbok and the herd needed thinning. We were more than happy to help. And at no extra charge!

Some were targets of opportunity while searching for red hartebeeste, zebra, steenbok. Between us, we accounted for 11 springbok kills and 1 crippled which promptly joined a herd of at least 100 other animals and got lost in a great cloud of dust as they headed for the horizon. My partner also shot a jackal. He used 180 Nosler Partitions in a 300 Win mag.
