My wife and I just returned from Namibia. We hunted with J. P. Brand, Nhosab Safaris, north of Aranos, Namibia. We stayed for 8 days. This hunt was donated to the Mason Dixon Chapter, SCI, and I was the lucky bidder. On the agenda were black wildebeest, steenbok, gemsbok, warthog, and springbok. Our hunt took place in the heart of the Kalahari. One interesting incident was when we were totally soaked during a thunderstorm, not expected in a desert, right? Here are a few photos. The first is of the thatched roof hut in which we stayed: warthog steenbok springbok gemsbok black wildebeest finally, just another African sunset THE LUCKIEST HUNTER ALIVE!

We never got to Aranos in our travels. We did have dinner the night before we flew home at Joe's Beer House in Windhoek. THE LUCKIEST HUNTER ALIVE!

Something wrong with my computer! All I can see is the lodge, the warthog and a tiny bit of the steenbock! Is nice to see how Joachim’s lodge turned out! We hunted with him twice, and during the last safari we stayed at is ranch. He was just starting to build the lodge. Whenever he comes to Europe he pays us a visit and we do some wild boar hunting! Nice guy to have around. B.Martins What every gun needs, apart from calibre, is a good shot and hunter behind it. - José Pardal
