Just a couple of pics from my recent hunt in Tuli Block, Botswana in early May. The PH was and still is Steve 'Shakari' Robinson of Kuduland safari's. He is holding my impala with Sunday the tracker. I think the horns measured out at 22" or 23 The waterbuck was 29" Both beasts were taken with a downloaded 375H+H Hunting is getting as close as you can, shooting is getting as far away as possible.

Congrats!! nice pictures. Been there two years ago and shot an impala and a blue wildebeast, also I wounded and lost a very nice impala... I thought waterbucks were not allowed to be hunted in Bots, from what the hell I have taken that silly idea from I don't know Please post some more pictures and tell us about your guns. L

Congratulations. Very nice trophies. That appears to be a big bodied impala. Regards, Terry P.S. I edited your post and removed the extra IMG code. Msasi haogopi mwiba [A hunter is not afraid of thorns]

Mark, If I remember correctly it was over 23 inches & the waterbuck was about 29 1/2 inches.... Lorenzo Until a few years ago there were restrictions on taking waterbuck in Botswana but not nowadays. Generally We also saw the biggest impala I've ever seen outside East Africa - My estimate was 26 inches or maybe a tad more. Mark also pulled off a really nice long shot at a baboon right at the top of a tree. The Game Dept are currently considering a few changes to the game laws and if they happen it will make Tuli an even better place to hunt....

Congratulations on a couple of nice trophies! That waterbuck is a hoss!
