I am soliciting help from RSA forum subscribers in trying to locate a friend who seems to have vanished off the face of the earth.

In 2000, I met a young PH from the Thabazimbi area of RSA at the Reno SCI convention. His name is Hugo Mynhardt, dba Hugo's Safari Adventures . I booked a hunt with him for 2001 in Moz. and we had a really good/successful time. In 2003, he and his family moved to the Vaalwater region and I visited his home prior to our hunt in Tanzania. We had another excellent trip. We had maintained regular contact over the past three years...there is no "bad blood" between us and I consider him a good friend.

My problem is this, I brought his rifle bolt back with me to the US to have some custom work done on it and then attempted to send it back to him and it got "misplaced" due to improper postal labelling. Anyway, I finally got it back and want to send it back to him. However, the last time I had any contact with him was in April of this year. At that time, he told me he was having problems with his email/computer system due to flooding in the area and ensuing damage to the phone lines.

In all honesty, I do know that he was having some business problems and things were different after 9/11 for everyone on both sides of the Atlantic. All I want to do is re-establish contact with him and send him his rifle bolt.

If anyone out there knows Hugo or has contact with him, please let me know. I will send p/m info.
