Buzz

Those are some fine trophies indeed mate!

I share your view on bull elephant hunting, it's the pinnacle of DG hunting indeed!!!

And add to it a classic double rifle and it's what my hunting dreams are made of!!!!

I hope we get to hunt these bulls for many years to come!!!

cheers

Nick

When oh when is it going to be legal to import ivory from Zim again? I am turning 60 next year and want to do a full on trophy elephant hunt in Zim, but I want to be able to bring the ivory home.

AND MY NOVEL WILL BE OUT SOON.

I was fortunate enough to hunt Kazuma a few years back for a tuskless cow. The amount of bulls I saw and up close and personal was incredible over the course of a 10 day hunt. It was an incredible adventure on my first elephant hunt

The size of the bulls and some of the ivory they were sporting made me seriously consider emptying my daughters college fund.

I am envious of those that are booked to hunt that area for bull elephant.

To me, hunting those huge body bulls is the ultimate hunt. When you see a track in the mid 20" you have to be in awe of a animal that big. Their heads are so huge and when you are in brush over your head and the bull's head is looking over that brush down on you, there is no feeling to compare it to.

Baxter- I have aged all my bulls from the Zambezi Valley and most that we have shot in the Forestry areas. The valley were all under 40 while the Forestry areas are all above 40 with one bull been just over 50.

I have only shot one forestry bull that had enough hair on its tail to make a bracelet!! That probably puts it into prospective !!!!
