Does anybody know anything about this group.

Appears to have nice animals at good prices and doesn't appear to be a fence or game ranch operation.

Thanks,

Wayne

A hectare equals 2.47 acres.

Thus, the farm you're considering is 14,820 acres.

Sounds like plenty of space, even if it is fenced. I hunted in RSA on 10,000 acres, never saw the fence, and had to work hard for my trophies.

Ok they only allow 14 rifle hunters a year and they also bow hunt.

They are located 1 hour from Windhoek airport boarding the central highlands and the Kalahari and their territory forms part of the Dordabis Conservancy, an area covering 400,000 acres.

Does anyone know this area or been close too or hunted this same area.

Hey thats the one it comes up huntinambia on my address bar.

Would really like some feedback from some people that have been to Africa on this one.

I know you can not tell everything from the website but the people that have been there are better at smelling the BS if there is some.

Thanks

and everybody that has emailed me about this or that place I have followed up on and waiting for brochures or whatnot from them.

I hunted right next door to Kowas, this past April, only because he was booked up and could not work out our dates.

He is mostly booked up for 2003, so we are booking for 2004 when we see him in Atlanta at the SCI GA convention.

I met him there this past March, and checked him out with his neighbors, and he does run a first class operation.

I am not a bit hesitant to book with him for 2004.

You will have a hard time finding a ranch in RSA that isn't fenced. The fence is meaningless. I hunted a 25,000 acre ranch in RSA and seen many species totally ignore the fence. I actually watched a cow eland clear a 6 foot fence with one bound! I was totally amazed. Zimbabwe had some great ranches but many have been taken away from the whites and ruined.

I have hunted with Tony da Costa three times and had great hunts. He has a hunt pak system for hunters that is a deal hard to beat.
