Congratulations on your successful hunt. Well done!

For hunters who might want to try their hand at a repeat performance:

Can you be more specific on what you mean by the "Dande region"? Which area in particular did you hunt?

Also, what time of year did you hunt?

Thanks.

Not so sure, but I do remember people mentioning at least 3 separate Dande areas.

Sorry someone with an axe to grind decided to use your successful hunt report to try and stir the pot. Disappointing.

That said, great safari, congrats on your success. I just returned this week from another successful and enjoyable safari with CMS. Consistent producers for serious hunters. Well done!

CMS has Dande North and Dande East. I have hunted both East and South. Understand Dande East has improved a lot with DAPU

You are a funny fellow and that comment was not needed. But you continue to grind your axe with Mike and that surely is an indication of a shallow character.

Then you release a photo of a folded elephant that goes viral and damages our industry.

Your prediction that Mike would book a safari with me was also unfounded.

And you indicated my commentary would spell my doom?

I am fully booked for this season mainly AR members

CMS is a top-quality outfitter and now and again they don't produce.

Get over it

So now offering genuine congratulations to a successful hunter and asking factual, general interest follow up questions constitutes axe-grinding and pot-stirring?

Asinine.

I reiterate my heartfelt congratulations to the hunter.

He is of course free to respond or not to any follow up questions posed by me or any other member.

Nice attempt at editing, but you are too slow.

I don't like that I'm furthering your hijack of this hunter's excellent report, but I must point out yet again that you are willfully and insultingly wrong.

You are the one with the axe.

You are the one who needs to get over it.

Anyone reading your comments can see that.

Why are you afraid of seeing answers posted here to my simple and straightforward questions?

Why are you trying to deflect these questions by continuing your childish personal attacks on me?

All hunters interested in hunting in Zimbabwe, and with CMS in particular, should be interested in knowing exactly where and when this very successful safari took place.

Disingenuous is the term that comes to mind. I think folks that have followed your efforts on multiple other threads to trash the area you hunted with CMS as poached out, depleted of game, etc. understand the true motivation of your inquiry about areas above. It would have been simple enough to just offer the hunter your heartfelt congratulations and move on . . . if that were your purpose. The floor is yours, I’m out.

Congratulations again to the original poster on his amazing hunt with CMS.

My questions were and are 100% legitimate.

Just interested in facts (which I have consistently posted).

Nothing else, least of all your bullshit.

Andrew,

Some people seem to have an allergy to facts and the truth.

Michael asked because there have been reports of not so successful hunts in some of the Dande areas.

I have PMs from others stating this.

I have absolutely no interest in this, other than having the facts being known, so interested hunters can make their own minds up.

Hiding an unsavory fact about an area is not doing anyone of us any favors.

Frankly, I wish hunters would report about their own experiences, good or bad.

The forums here are open to everyone, and those in business who think they are getting the wrong report are very welcome to state their facts.

A very sad fact is some outfitters are very happy to have positive reports, and once any question is raised about their behavior they turn tail and run off in a silly huff!

I have absolutely no time for those who behave in this way.

This was a great report and proves the quality of CMS again. But Mr Jines has to spoil it. Apologies to the poster and again very well done on your fantastic trophies.

This hunt was conducted in Dande North in late August/early September. I met FFanizzi at Pedza Camp right at the end of my hunt.

With kind regards

The client had a great hunt, with a company known for providing great service.

The proverbial shit hit the fan when a member of its management took exceptions to the reactions he got to the stupid policies he has introduced.

These are facts one cannot escape!

Dear Mr FFanizz,

thanks a lot for sharing your report on a fantastic hunt with CMS. And thanks to Larry for helping out with the pictures and Myles for that very nice leopard photo.

I am longing back to the bush and CMS guys. After some health issues last two years I find my self in a hurry and have booked my third safari with CMS. In June 2024 the Vikings will be back. Maybe Larry have to help with the pictures one more time Wink

All the best,

Morten

Love the pic! Love the Zambezi Valley! Brings back so many memories. tu2 Love the gorge. tu2 Years ago, two of us floated 60 miles down the Zambezi River after Tiger fishing at Tafika Fish Camp, pulled out and traveled overland to Dande South for a great safari with PHs Lance Nesbitt and Dean Kendall.
